Hinting perhaps that the plane 'circus' was deliberately staged to create a lot of noise as a distraction for something else. F-15s do make a lot of noise in full throttle with burners on.

Most airliners are now two crew only. Stuff like cabin pressurisation etc is controlled on the centre panel between the pilots or on the overhead panel where pretty much everything can be reached by both pilots.
