Yep. It was used by a Radio Control group and for military functions. Matter of fact, it IS still used for military functions. I can see it every time I take off from Shady Acres headed to Chehalis-Centralia or OLM. Before 9/11, I used to line up on it for fun and once, I had to use it for an "emergency" thanks to my instructor. I will check with other locals I know to find out if it's ever had a name.
