> somebody could taxi a plane and take off without tower permission

It is altogether possible he got in line to take off and did so once the runway was clear.

>the F15s getting there in "just a few minutes"

Not a cloud. It is visible on the vid at .25 speed. That's 25% of normal. It last's for 2 frames. The speed is so fast it appears to be moving towards the plane.

I disagree with the 5min warmup time. That is a super long time to take. These pilots are trained to go at a moments notice.

I've read where it was guestimated the F15's got there is 2-3 min.

Can F-15's fly faster than 1500 knots?
