How long does it take to get an alert fighter off the ground and what's the flight time from Portland?

Seems too convenient that we had 2 birds in the air and intercepted the aircraft.

BTW - F15C is the designated model for Air Superiority, only carries Air to Air weapons.

It's about 200 miles from Portland to Seattle. If they were screaming at low level they top out around 1,000MPH. If they get altitude, add maybe 700MPH to that.

Still looking at 8-15 minutes from takeoff to engagement.
