MbS vs Justin Trudeau

SA citizens and women’s rights campaigners, Samar Badawi and Nassima al-Sadah arrested in SA. Badawi received 2012 International Women of Courage Award from HRC.

Trudeau sends sternly worded message to MbS demanding their immediate release.

MbS pissed at Canada for interfering with a SA matter. MbS allowing reforms to happen at his pace to bridge young and old and maintain peace. SA doesn’t want a Iran style protest.

MbS calls back SA citizens studying in Canada, expels Canadian ambassador, recalls its ambassador, halts any new investment or trade deals with Canada, halts flights to Canada. Overkill?

UK not backing Canada because SA oil. Other EU members balking. US and SA are replacing oil contracts EU had with Iran. Pissing off MbS would send EU into recession if fuel prices jacked up.

SA is instrumental in any real chance at Middle East peace with Israel.

What is USA/Trump’s position?

Jared Kushner working strongly for peace in ME. Trump has growing friendship with MbS. Publicly US stance is encourage Trudeau and MbS to resolve their issues.

Privately what’s happening?

I would assume Pompeo is trying to work through our ambassador network to help mend fences. Trump may be working concessions w/Canada to get Trudeau to back off. Not sure if he can do that and save face.

Speculation: given parties involved, I wonder if Alwaleed, who’s suddenly financially sound, isn’t causing mischief. He’s got to be pissed and embarrassed by is treatment at the Ritz. There have been women’s rights protests happening for few months in SA. Key characters: Trudeau & HRC (BFF w/Soros) encourages/sponsors/empowers HRC’s buddy, Samar Badawi to act strongly enough for an arrest. Maybe Alwaleed is trying for another soft coup attempt? Where’s Alwaleed’s new wealth coming from? Arab media reported his ransom/bail was $3bn+ or 70% of his net worth.

It’s possible that Soros is manipulating Trudeau to cause a civil unrest event in SA. SA is financially depleted with ongoing war with Yemen-Houthis. MbS is striving to build an economy not dependent on oil exports by 2030.

Is it likely MbS strong response to Canada sticking its nose in SA domestic business heavy handed because Trudeau is interfering with House of Saud business?

Dribbles from MSM stating Trump was inexperienced and caught unaware by SA’s move. They may be trying to get Trump in gotcha moment where headlines read “Trump fails to defend women’s rights”. Was Team Trump caught flat Footed? IDK. Seems unlikely.

Is real question who doesn’t want Middle East peace? The parallels between “she was never supposed to lose” HRC and “guaranteed future King” Alwaleed are remarkable.
