Everybody else was right about Sandy Hoax. By that I mean Jones attaches himself to things other people proved and claims he had something to do with it. He usually deliberately fucks it all up.
But pretty much he always gets it wrong. Claiming the Boston smoke bomb was real is a perfect example.
