Very good post.

I understand where you're coming from. If you don't have the time to look into the Bible and compare 25 different versions it's really overwhelming. I would suggest checking out "The Scriptures" by The Messianic Institute. They've done a very honest job with their own translation. It can be downloaded to MySword Bible- TS2009 edition. MySword Bible app makes it very easy to compare multiple versions.

I'm formerly Independent Baptist but I don't specifically consider myself as a part of a particular sect anymore. All of the letters of Paul were addressed to the Church at such and such a town.

Church isn't a building. It's a group of people. Where two or more are gathered in My Name I am with them also. Two or more! That means you and me. They could never have imagined the power of the Internet many moons ago.

There's so much in the Bible. Personally, I've been slowly working on moving to more of a Messianic viewpoint. It's hard when I was raised Independent Baptist. But, remember, in Heaven they celebrate anything you do for God in an extraordinary way.

I observe the Sabbath. Resting, studying, and thinking about God. Remember- Jesus himself said "My burden is easy and my load is light". That means... if it seems like a pain in the ass or a waste of time, it probably is. Just like the strict Jews thinking they can't turn an oven on or off on Saturday... that's ridiculous.

Also... a big point that many people miss- What you do for the least of these you do for Me. We will be judged on what we did for the poor and the starving here on Earth if we read the Bible plainly. He also told us we would always have the poor with us.

Remember the war on white people? You will soon find out that we are the Heirs of the Promise given to Abraham. The United States is Ephraim, spoken of in Genesis as a Multitude of Nations.
