Wonder if it was turned off and the plane landed safely somewhere else - possibly the local Naval Air station - and the "crash" was a missile strike on something spoopy on the island

I know the fight tracker apps/software give real time flight info - IF the plane's transponder is turned on.

Don't know if the flight tracker software keeps a long-termhistory but I've seen other anons pull up flight history so it should be possible.

Does anyone have the actual call sign and/or flight number of the stolen Q400?

Q400 is the model number - there should be a specific flight number or call sign that we could track.

Every report - and anon post - only indicates the model number. If there is not a call sign/flight number then it is very likely the mod C transponder was turned off and was not tracked.

Can anyone help with this?

It's my understanding that the flight number has to be programmed into the flight computer before the every flight. If it was not then the flight would not be visible to the flight tracking software.
