Years ago when living in a rural area I saw a helicopter flying very low over our property, so low that I thought it was going to land. It flew out of sight as it went behind the house and I quickly went around the corner of the building to watch it. Took me maybe 20 to 30 secs to get around. When I did, the chopper was no longer in sight even though I still heard the engine. The topography of our property and the neighbour's didn't provide deep enough valleys or troughs to hide a chopper from view if it landed and there were no trees to obscure the view. I went back around the front of the property thinking it must have changed direction and flew over the house. Still couldn't see it tho still heard it, but it sounded farther away. It's still one of the mysteries in my life. So sometimes things happen even tho there's no logical explanation (barring a cloaking device, kek).
