Posting this for anyone anon digging on the Q400.
I was planefagging when it all happened. Post crash there were three aircraft that arrived on scene.
One was a Pierce County Sheriff Cessna. They were first on scene. I've lost the tail number but it may be in the notables. That's the one where you see the tight circle track around the island.
The other two were, I believe both helicopters (helos in Navy speak). One for sure was a helo. The other showed up as an airline icon but the airspeed and ability to hover tells me it was another helo.
All three of these aircraft were visible on Flightradar24 but NOT on ADSB exchange.
I monitored and posted screen caps for about an hour I guess. Nothing really significant to report besides above.
Prior to the crash the Q400 wasn't visible on ADSB exchange or Flightradar24 at least that I could see. Makes sense I suppose. He'd have to turn the transponder on and I never heard anything about that on the recordings.
All other traffic either went around the island or well above it (30k' or higher).
