It was well before the 2012 election that I heard Obama referred to on radio news using his full name, including "Hussein". It was then that I "knew" something was really wrong. Before that I was busy with family and life. I couldn't understand how he could win the 2012 election, couldn't people see how badly he was destroying our country, even at that point? It was a wake up call that almost blew my family apart, arguments about politics, and avoiding family members primarily to avoid the political arguments.

Five years later my family's political leanings have shifted: one member is now a former Liberal and a Trump supporter. My 90 year old mother-in-law, a strict Conservative Republican, has no internet and is bombarded with political junk mail from both sides which she reads. She listens to Conservative news/talk all day until it's time for Fox News but unfortunately a particular magazine called The Week, claiming to be centrist, has gotten to her and her support for Trump has wavered. She is starting to sound like a Liberal because she devours that magazine from cover to cover, and argues with me like a Liberal.

With the exception of Mom-in-law, we are Trump supporters. We know it's not going to be easy to fix this country, but Trump makes it loses easier than it probably is. Little by little the Restoration is taking place, corruption is to be held accountable, and we are seeing real results.

There are so many people who are busy with their day to day lives who do not get involved in politics or in keeping current with news and current events. They have no idea how close we came to losing the country that we call home, to something that people run away from. Part of what you do is for them, and when they wake up they'll appreciate what you're doing for them. If they only knew.
