The only overlooked issue is the GSM which is wiping out crops in Patagonia and around the world. Nothing a little hydro/aquaponics can't fix. Baseball/grapefruit size hail is destroying crops everywhere (French vineyards have gotten all the coverage), so I assume more tunnels/hail proof green houses are to be built. LED lights emitting in the photosynthesis light spectrum have gotten the power usage so low that using tunnels to grow food is very possible.
