Ever been in a Baha'i temple? I have.

It is not originally Jewish, or even remotely Jewish related. It is a pan theistic amalgamation of all religious beliefs. It has regional temples like the one pictured, in each of its 'territories' of the earth. These are envisioned to be future centers of learning and faith spreading after they absorb all of the world's religions.

My impression was they were kind of like the Borg.

The amount of freak-out on this board about Jews and Zionists is over the top. Connecting them with Baha'i is overthinking it to the extreme. They seemed much more along the lines of Unitarian Universalist to me.

Except that the founder was Persian, and Haifa has been part of just about every empire in the middle east, i.e. wasn't even technically an Israeli city when Baha'i was founded.

I think its mere koinkydink.

Also, if I was Satan and wanted to establish a Borg religion to confuse everyone, what better place to put it? Right in the center of all the controversy.

So far my having visited one of their regional temples outweighs the other hearsay. Read the literature, watched their little promo.

Its a bunch of new age BS, so of course it very obviously smells. No disagreement there. It is as much Buddhist or Unitarian as Zionist or Scientologist.

Anyway. My point is 'muh joos' gets tiresome, especially when its baseless.
