Also remember that many people who call themselves Polish or Ukrainian descend from ancestors who emigrated from the Austro-Hungarian empire, before there were any clear borders for countries like Poland or Ukraine.
The ones from Galicia, which is half in Poland and half in Ukraine, tend to have their own agenda which does not agree with the majority of Poland or of Ukraine. And both groups have many hereditary Nazis who descended from guys who fought in Hitler's Waffen SS and who passed the Nazi mindset on to their children and grandchildren.
These two groups made a concerted effort to infiltrate positions of power in the USA and Canada after WWII and often no longer have slavic surnames. For instance the Canadian Foreign Minister Chrystia Freeland. In Canada there are some major TV journalists who also are of Ukrainian roots but have anglo-saxon surnames.
This is completely different from STRZOK
And is from the wrong language as well.
Bad digging
Waste of our time
Problem is that Peter is Polish, not Slovenian
In fact, it is entirely possible that the name comes from the German STARK (Strong) being mispronounced by Poles. Or it could be a variation of STRYC which means haircut or barber.
Neither STRZOK or STRZEK exist in Polish
Poland had such a mix of Tatars, and Slavs settling it, all speaking different dialects including TATISCH which was what most Khazar Jews spoke. TATAR is a purely Turkic word meaning FOREIGN FOLK. The word TATISCH takes the Turkic for FOREIGN and adds a Slavic suffic to make an adjective. ISK in Slavic and some Germanic languages, but ISCH in TATISCH. Nowadays with the diaspora of the Khazar Jews, they no longer call their language TATISCH but adopted the name foreigners gave it, namely JEWISH. But since the foreigners also spoke TATISCH, the word came out YIDDISCH or JUDISCH.
You see, the Goths/Germans were also TATARS who ended up trying to incorporate the words of their IRANIAN/SLAVIC overlords but they made a mess of it, especially the verbs which are simple in German, not complex like Persian, Latin, Sanskrit.
Some surnames can be tracked back to a clear origin, and some cannot ever be tracked back no matter how much you want it to be simple.

How about Haeckel refined Social Darwinism into a philosophy called Scientific Monism. The more pure philosophers refined that further into Nihilism. Those who were more politically inclined, created Communism, a form of nihilism with a social program. Other nihilists did not agree with the Communist ideals and in reaction to it, they created National Socialism or Fascism in Europe while in North America they created Technocracy.
After WWII the supporters of all these nihilist movements made a great effort to come together and find a common way to implement nihilism practically in the world. Through the UN, the Bretton Woods agreement, the Bilderberg Commission, they slowly ironed out their differences until they had a brilliant new solution that would solve all of the worlds problems, the New World Order. It was so brilliant that they saw no need to tell anyone that it was actually a
Nihilist World Order
And here we stand today.
