It was part of the Manafort case.

The point is this was months after Manafort was fired and supposedly distanced from the campaign because of his illegal lobbying.

Then he's taking appointment advice on positions within the admin?

>Manafort was cleared by RR yrs ago.

That was a completely different case, completely different crimes, completely different time period.

It wasn't even a criminal case.

And it wasn't cleared by RR.

It was thrown out of court on jurisdiction grounds.

>Kushner was probably rolling his eyes and smirking when he typed "On it!" Lol

It's possible he was just humoring his unsolicited advice to be polite.

It will be interesting to see Calk's role in this whole thing. I'm assuming he's dirty and this was all part of the plan to infect Trumps cabinet.

>No, it was the same charges as today.

NO, it is NOT.

Similar crime, yes - laundering money for work with Ukrainian oligarchs.

But the time period is totally different.

The other one was for work pre-2011.

This is for laundering since then (2011-current).

And a ton of other differences… like the other one was a civil case brought by Tymoshenko, NOT a criminal case by DOJ.

>She probably took enormous steps to protect her information including multiple dead man switches.

And nothing will come of it, again.

Fucking stupid reporters.

They all want their fame and glory… want to make a big splash, and get killed before their info is released.

Michael Hastings, anyone?

Get a fucking reputable lawyer as a cutout and take the info to someone senior enough to get you protection.

Heel

In professional wrestling, a heel (also known as a rudo in lucha libre) is a wrestler who portrays a villain or a "bad guy" and acts as an antagonist to the faces, who are the heroic protagonist or "good guy" characters.

To gain heat (with boos and jeers from the audience), heels are often portrayed as behaving in an immoral manner by breaking rules or otherwise taking advantage of their opponents outside the bounds of the standards of the match.

>The speculation now is Manafort will appeal if convicted that Mueller didn't have the jurisdiction to go after Manafort.

Naw… they would have started that long ago if they really cared.

Manafort was dirty.

He was probably paid by Deripaska.

My guess is that he's got to pay his taxes on the money he made and laundered illegally… but otherwise they have flipped him.

The trial has been more about buying time, and setting precedent so they can nail the others on similar crimes.
