Unlikely. There are much easier ways to destroy evidence on an island with 17 inhabitants than crashing a plane into it and attracting attention to yourself and those around you in the process.
The pictures floating around 8ch do not even show wreckage of any plane in the crash. The plane was more than likely used as a prop to create probable cause to send LE onto the island to investigate.
