Posted this in the last bread but it happened to be the last post. Flood detection is a bitch sometimes.

Of all the vagueries and dubious claims in CF's statement on Haiti, the one about "clean energy" irks me the most. 400 KW is 10 or 15 times what your house probably uses.

Granted, Haitians probably use a lot less energy per capita than most other countries, but that also means they could've powered the whole country if they built a natural gas plant or two.
