HAITI - Home of AIDES epidemic.

Many years ago 1981 all the new AIDES victims were sent to 2 hospitals one on each coast. This was before we knew what it was. Worked with these patients in early days as a mystery disease. You become very close to folks caring for them when they knew they were dying.

They told you their story. Gay or hetero-married gay the story was all the same. Disease was 1st named GRIDS gay related infectious disease. They got the disease in Haiti. They revealed that they had joined cruise junkets to Haiti, most out of NYC or Florida to go to Haiti to have sxx with young boys. Every one told me the same story. If married they would ask that their wife not be told. All said that got it in Haiti from the boys.
