The Rainbow Room is a private event space on the 65th floor of 30 Rockefeller Plaza in Rockefeller Center, Midtown Manhattan, New York City. Run by Tishman Speyer, it is among the highest venues in New York City.
They really have a thing for all the colors. This room mocks the NBC logo in it's diversity of the color spectrum. For those unaware, color does not truly exist. It is a trick on our eyes that works with light. We see color, color is not there to really be seen.
I feel that has a relevance to their color schemes.
