Go to google maps, and poke around for vacation spots, or new home:

Check out the schools, crime, sex offender maps, realty values, avg income, how many redheads live there (kidding), etc. This part is irrelevant to the subject at hand, but you get the drift. "Dig" on the area.

Once you pick your area in google maps, and find out the above info, use your PARCEL MAPS. Every county maintains parcel listings, and sometimes the actual "map" is difficult to get to, but with a little patience, you can find what you want. FOR EXAMPLE:

Click on a parcel in the map. Get the number. Copy/paste into the seearch. Get digs!!!!

One could take the time to compare the google map with the parcel map, and come really close to finding out a great deal of info on ALL the people that live there. Keep in mind, there's only 20 or so developed lots on that island, so after some digging, you could have a complete census of persons living there. Everyone. Even the ones that might have a shady past.
