Pope Francis urges tech companies do all they can to combat child porn
https://www.cbc.ca/news/world/pope-francis-child-pornography-1.4343257
Pope Francis on Friday denounced the proliferation of adult and child pornography on the internet and demanded better protections for children online _ even as the Vatican confronts its own cross-border child porn investigation involving a top papal envoy. Francis met with participants of a Catholic Church-backed international conference on fighting child pornography and protecting children in the digital age. He fully backed their proposals to toughen sanctions against those who abuse and exploit children online and improve technological filters to prevent young people from accessing porn online.

Justice Department Launches Planned Parenthood Investigation for Sale of Baby Body Parts
In the committee's final report entitled "Human Fetal Tissue Research: Context and Controversy" published in December 2016, Grassley urged the FBI to investigate Planned Parenthood.
"The report documents the failure of the Department of Justice, across multiple administrations, to enforce the law that bans the buying and selling of human fetal tissue," Grassley wrote. "It also documents substantial evidence suggesting that the specific entities involved in the recent controversy, and/or individuals employed by those entities, may have violated that law."

The More You Know (block)
The More You Know is an American programming block that is programmed by the Litton Entertainment autonomous unit of the Hearst Television subsidiary of the Hearst Corporation, and debuted on October 8, 2016. It airs on Saturday mornings on NBC, and as of 2017 is replayed Sunday mornings on sister network Cozi TV.
Named after NBCUniversal's series of public service campaigns of the same name, the three-hour Saturday morning block features live-action programming aimed at teens that are designed to meet federally mandated educational programming guidelines.[2]
The block replaced NBC Kids (which aired live-action and animated preschool-oriented programming from Sprout), and is Litton's fourth E/I-centric programming block across the major U.S. television networks, joining three other Litton blocks: Litton's Weekend Adventure (ABC), CBS Dream Team (CBS), and One Magnificent Morning (The CW).[3][4][5][6]

Omarosa confirms 'sโhole' comments for Nigerian president
Former White House aide Omarosa Manigault Newman confirmed in a tweet to Nigerian President Muhammadu Buhari on Monday that President Trump referred to African nations as "shithole countries" in an Oval Office meeting earlier this year.
Asked about the remarks at a White House press conference, Buhari said he did not bring the issue up during his meeting with Trump.
โIโm not sure about, you know, the validity of whether that allegation against the president is true or not," Buhari said. โSo the best thing for me is to keep quiet.โ
President @MBuhari FYI he said it. #Naija
