Tishman Speyer is a Land development, Property management, and Fund management company established in 1978 by Robert Tishman and his son-in-law Jerry Speyer.

Minoru Yamasaki designed the World Trade Center buildings and Century Plaza Towers. "Century Plaza Towers are two 44-story, 174-metre (571 ft) twin towers located at 2029 and 2049 Century Park East in Century City, Los Angeles, California.

 

Commissioned by Alcoa, the towers were designed by Minoru Yamasaki and completed in 1975."

 

As well as, "His first significant project was the Pruittโ€“Igoe housing project in St. Louis, Missouri, 1955." The housing project experienced so many problems that it was demolished in 1972, less than twenty years after its completion. Its destruction is considered by some to be the beginning of postmodern architecture.[4]"

 

The Pruitt-Igoe demolition was done by Controlled Demolition Inc. "The company has brought down public-housing complexes, including the notorious Pruitt-Igoe in St. Louis" Who were also responsible for the clean up at World Trade Center "On September 22, 2001, a preliminary cleanup plan for the World Trade Center site was delivered by Controlled Demolition, Inc. in which Mark Loizeaux, president of CDI, emphasized the importance of protecting the slurry wall (or "the bathtub") which kept the Hudson River from flooding the WTC's basement.[8]" AND "On May 24, 1995, the firm was responsible for the demolition of the Alfred P. Murrah Federal Building after its bombing on April 19, 1995.[4]"
