Reality strikes. Justice delayed is justice denied. Some cleanup has happened. The drip..drip..drip..situation won't change a lot me thinks.
If the Catholic Church in the United States has the courage to apologize for all the lives deeply hurt by the Baby Scoop era then I might sympathize. Your faith is something within you and does not beling to the church. Those who support the church in my eyes are just as guilty of every crime they committed.

It was a big money maker for them. Before the sixties the church and many other groups would help unwed mothers. Then they learned to shame them.
I have been deeply effected by this personally and from people I know. I offer them no forgiveness. In Ireland and Australia at least the church apologized.
That was very nicely put. I don't disagree either. It's just that I personally have many reasons to dislike the church. Please do not turn a blind eye to it's mis-deeds.
