Demoralization of the public? A takedown of the religion that gave us the Ten Commandments and such. It has been a driving force of human morality, at its core. The attack on the Catholic Church should focus on the bad actions of the people, not the essence of the faith. That’s why it’s important for Catholics to stay focused on WHY we’re Catholic. Most are Catholic due to faith in the Holy Trinity (among other things), not because of our faith in the fallible people who run the Church. Resonates with the whole “guns don’t kill people” argument.

If faith was relegated to just something individual within all of us, we wouldn’t be able to unite over it. No common ground would be made because we would all see it so differently. I’m Catholic because the things I’ve been taught about the faith and our world make the most sense and I’ve connected with others over that same revelation. Fact of the matter is, the Church is getting attacked because it still unites many people around the world via common values, regardless of nationality. Just another way for the satanic cabal to divide and conquer. And that’s why Catholics can’t/shouldn’t give up on the faith and our common beliefs. We just need to take back our Church, just like how we Americans are currently taking back our country.
