Yea, I posted that last bread. Same feel -- needs more digging. AND got me thinking about Dante's Inferno. Couldn't find any Podestas on character lists of The Inferno and I don't remember any. But if memory serves me correctly, Dante Alligheri was from Florence. Somewhere in that Wiki article said Podesta family from Florence. Got me thinking about my college literature professor who had done his dissertation on The Divine Comedy, I remember he went in depth about the Black Guelphs and the White Guelphs in Florence during the Medieval period when The Inferno was written...
