well, the turkman region did work with silver and the rest of the necklace is definitely from that region, with the carnelian, and that type of middle easter design but it looks like a conglomeration of types to me and that the pendant doesn't really go with the rest of the necklace.
just my limited 2 cents worth.
the 2 "prongs" at the top of the whitish one,are not being used to hold the pendant on a string, as the 2 prongs or guides at the top of the bronze would hold the string for the pendant.
I hope this makes some sense guys. there is so much information being thrown out here… it is hard to keep it all straight.
i have it on my desktop for a quick comic relief. I love it! I wish the hands were feathered though.
