I think ancient ritual that brings people back from the dead, rather than natural reincarnation, they bring people back via ritual and necromancy which goes back to ancient times. which is why they are evil and they hang on to their fortunes. VAMPIRES but in a different way. They survive by blood sacrifice and bloodlines. We are just born again and live new lives by Nature/Jesus.
