WASHINGTON - Passengers and crew members were left in the dark at Washington Reagan National Airport Wednesday night.
A power outage was reported shortly before 10 p.m. eastern.
Back-up power was provided by a generator and many flights were still able to operate under the conditions.
No word yet on what caused the outage.
An investigation is underway.
