Repost from last night.

How did Biljana Djurdjevic paint those images. These are not "inspired works". Why? Because they are renditions of an actual place that has been identified.

Was she there in person? Is she a "spared" victim? Did she paint from photographs? If she painted from photographs, who gave them to her and how? If she is a victim it would explain a lot about her 'art'. And if she was there in person and painted from her own experience? Don't even know what to say about that one. (this is not an either or…it could be and/and/and)

According to her website, the collection "Living in Oblivion" was first shown in Sweden. Also according to her website, the entire collection was a three year project. Her show dates may coincide with Podesta/Clinton travels. (haven't gone there yet)
