The midterms were NEVER 'safe'. Get out there and vote and make sure others do, too.

Okay, I've had a few minutes to cool off and think a little. I think I was looking at the "budget" issue from the wrong perspective.
What if the "cost" issue was not about money, but is about how many patriots we are willing to sacrifice just to have a parade? Think. What would be the result of having a million or so of us all in one place when a missile landed in DC?
We still haven't tracked down even one sub that I'm certain of* AND we don't know how many there actually are. We are not ready for a parade until we can account for the subs and the missing nuclear weapons.
That's a high price for a couple fly-bys and a rousing / boring speech or two.
*Okay … MAYBE one off Hawaii. That still leaves at least one and probably two by my calculations. And there are 2-3 missing nuclear bombs.
I put (PB) – "previous bread" because by the time I get something together, I have NO IDEA how many breads have already flown by! ;-)
