Wish I could help, anon, but I'm downstate and I'm not originally from Illinois. I will ask some friends who are lifelong natives of Chicago. I can confirm, however, any rumors that the corrupt Chicago politicians (Machine) ran out the mob because the mob had more scruples than the politicians. But I haven't been able to confirm or deny the Hugh Rodham and Capone connection but I can say that it would shock me if there is no connection. The way that city functions, the level of corruption is beyond what any can comprehend…including me.
