The picture of the pool that is circulating around here is the basement pool of the Biltmore Estate in Asheville, NC. I've stood in that room as part of the tour. It's in the foothills of the Appalachians and water is piped in via an aqueduct. The estate was completed in 1895, before inflatable plastic floaties were a thing. So instead of letting the women and children drown, they put ropes around the pool so swimmers could pull themselves to safety. They even tied them in nooses so you could slip it around the younger children's bodies. Move on from this particular pool. It's nothing and you sound retarded.
