And yet it is the jury who decides Manafort's fate. They are so stupid.
I honestly don't know anon. Those who are made out to be the bad guys often turn into the good guys.
Every high profile case, the MSM wants the jurors names so they can get an exclusive interview with them after the verdict. I don't see anything unusual about this. The Judge would not have released their names until after the trial anyway.
Why is the Judge receiving threats? What kind of threats? Need more specifics to determine what's going on there.
No, it surely doesn't. I'd bet the jurors have asked to keep their information sealed. The Judge already told the press they could appeal his decision to keep the names sealed.
There is probably plenty of evidence at the appellate level to show just cause to keep their names sealed, should they desire. I've seen cases where some jurors were unsealed and some weren't, depending on the individual.
Does it say what the threats were about?
>I can tell you there have been [threats].
It doesn't say anything about death threats. We don't know the nature of the threats. The names won't be released anytime soon. This will all blow over by Monday.
Are you kidding? Every single high profile trial, the press asked for the jurors names so they can be interviewed after the trial is over about why they made the decisions they did. This is not anything new.
thanks anon. I can't imagine why they would threaten a judge. Not like he could change the outcome of the trial at this point.
The judge would not have unsealed the jurors names until AFTER the trial anon.
Everyone is blowing this way out of proportion.
Anons, The judge would not have released the names before the trial was over, regardless of the FOIA by the press. That is a given.
So all you anons saying muy jury threats, get over yourselves. The FOIA was asked for AFTER the trial was over. This is very customary for the press to seek jurors names AFTER the trial so they can get exclusive interviews with the jurors.
Stop making this into something that it's not.
Where does it say he was threaten for the purpose of getting him to release the juror names?
bye-bye ESPN
Q is methodically irregular, kek
In the beginning, anons kept track, but then Q changed his posting times, kek. It seems to go thru cycles. He had been posting around midnight, then around noon or early afternoon, then at both times. I know he will purposely not keep on a schedule that can be tracked.
Everyone should know the judge would never unseal the names before the trial was over, so to say he was threaten because of that is just plain silly. The FOIA was always for after the trial. So, I am not even sure why the judge would receive threats. He can not influence the outcome of the trial at this point. He was never going to unseal the jurors, so what is the point of a threat?
