To obtain a DOD clearance you have to have a reason to apply for one via the SP-86. Depending on how high it goes, your re-investigation requirement is any where from 10 years, 5 years or ever year. (Secret, TS, TS-SCI / TS-SCI II) Once your employment is over, your clearance can remain active for up to 90 days, usually so people can move to a new job without doing the 86 and investigation again.

The point the MSM and liberal fags cannot seem to grasp is that 90 days from leaving the c_a, his clearance should have been moved from active to inactive since he was no longer employed and had no reason to maintain a clearance. Brennan's dumb ass knows this, and unless the MSM is somehow a hiring authority that contracts with the DOD, he wouldn't have had a clearance when receiving classified "intel."

This may be a blessing in disguise: assuming he had no clearance while receiving classified material and then pawning it off while working for the MSM, he and anyone involved would become subject to violations of the National Security Act, NDAs, Patriot Act and best of all, the same EO's put in motion by obuttplug regarding leaks.
