^^^THIS. Hell, even in the business sector one must sign an intellectual property agreement. One does not simply get to take one's work completed and paid for on the job with them once they leave.
Somebody clue me in. WTF does losing a security clearance after one has left the office/position even remotely have to do with "sharing views?"
i'm a high school teacher. I have a fob to let me in the building Monday-Friday 6:00-9:00. If I want to go in on a Saturday morning, I have to request special entrance in advance, and that will only be granted if there is something already happening in the building, like say, band practice. When I retire, my email account will go defunct w/in a week or so of my last day. And yea, while I may wish and in fact intend to bequeath all the materials I have created over 25 years to a rookie teacher, those materials are the property of my employer –THE TAXPAYERS.
