David Bowie's song/video Let's Dance appears to be about trafficking/child labor of minority/indigenous children and red shoes figure prominently.
I saw a video recently of him denouncing Satanism. Who knows.
Perhaps thats why he was depicting these themes later in life.
Like I said, who knows….
He certainly was very deeply connected to all of that, and spoke of it in detail.
