Please take the time to look at and hopefully read the infographic I posted. If you see anything there that fails to support my conclusion that the Jesus Christ of biblical scripture was a mushroom, please let me know.
I can also offer you non-biblical evidentiary supporting the conclusion that the foundations of your biblical dogma, doctrines and commonly accepted wisdom are horse shit.
For example. Take for example the notion of hell. In the New Testament the English word hell is translated from the Greek word Hades. The Greek word Hades appears exactly 70 times in the New Testament but 35 times is translated "hell" and another 35 times translated "grave". What did the translators do to decide which translation was correct? Did they flip a coin?
Having studied the New Testament in Greek I can tell you that there's absolutely no reason to translate Hades as "Hell". In Greek all 70 instances make perfect sense translated grave. In fact, prior to the 7th century there was no translation of scripture in to the word or concept of Hell. There was only grave.
Go back to Old England of the 7th Century. Your walking a country road and come to a poor farm house. You go up to the door, the farmer greets you and you tell the farmer to "go to hell" (heol in the Old English. The farmer leaves briefly and returns with food for your journey. The heol was the root cellar where foods were kept fresh.
The translators of the Catholic Church had decided to create the concept of hell out of whole cloth for the obvious purpose of instilling fear as a means of controlling the masses.
Do you know of any so called Christian Bible that translates Hades 70 times as Hades? You don't. I could recite many hundreds of such mistranslations all purposely imposed upon your Bible to keep you in the dark (heol) and enslave you.
