House Committee Considers Subpoena For Twitter CEO For Shadow Banning Conservatives
A House committee is reportedly considering issuing Twitter CEO Jack Dorsey a subpoena for the social media’s allegations of shadow banning conservatives.
An unnamed staffer on the House Energy and Commerce Committee told Politico that it is considering issuing Dorsey a subpoena to testify before the panel after a “tense” meeting with representatives Thursday, Politico reported.
After negotiations to convince Dorsey to testify before the committee over its data and content policies, the Republican source told Politico that the social media giant is “delaying” and “stonewalling” the committee.
“I appreciate your willingness to speak publicly on issues facing Twitter and agree complex algorithms must be better communicated to consumers. After many good faith efforts from staff, this is your formal invitation to appear before @HouseCommerce on Sept. 5,” Republican Rep. Greg Walden of Oregon, tweeted at Dorsey Thursday.
A representative from Twitter, along with representatives from Facebook and Google, met with the House Committee on the Judiciary on July 17 to discuss the allegations of the giant platforms censoring conservatives.
During the hearing, Democrats claimed that the major platforms — which control nearly every aspect of social media, internet searches, and internet ads — don’t have a bias against conservatives. (RELATED: Twitter CEO Begins Media Tour In Aftermath Of Alec Jones Censorship)
“There’s been no evidence whatsoever that I have seen and that the majority has been able to provide that there’s any bias whatsoever,” Democratic Rep. Zoe Lofgren of California said.
Twitter temporarily suspended Steven Crowder, a popular conservative comedian and political pundit, and several other conservatives. Google search results once mislabeled a Republican Senate candidate “bigot” and referred to the Republican Party as Nazi ideology, and Facebook’s new algorithms have damaged conservative news sites, while liberal ones have remand almost unchanged.

Emails Show Junk Dossier Author Chris Steele Was Communicating with Mueller Special Counsel Well Into 2017
New emails reveal Christopher Steele, the British author of the junk Russia dossier, was communicating with Dirty Cop Robert Mueller through Bruce Ohr.
Sara Carter obtained emails this week that show British operative Chris Steele was communicating with Mueller Special Counsel in 2017 during their investigation on Trump based on Steele’s junk dossier.
As Cristina Laila reported earlier Christopher Steele also discussed with Bruce Ohr about getting back into the FBI and the Mueller probe last year.
Former British spy was fired by the FBI after they found he was leaking his junk report to the media.
This is a stunning development.

In June 2017, Steele tells Ohr, “We are frustrated with how long this reengagement with the Bureau and Mueller is taking. Anything you can do to accelerate the process would be much appreciated. There are some new, perishable, operational opportunities which we do not want to miss out on.”
In October 2017, Steele notes that he is concerned about the stories in the media about the bureau delivering information to Congress “about my work and relationship with them. Very concerned about this. People’s lives may be endangered.”
And in November 2017, Steele, who is trying to engage with Robert Mueller’s Special Counsel, writes to Ohr saying, “we were wondering if there was any response to the questions I raised last week.”
Ohr responds by saying, “I have passed on the questions (apparently to the special counsel) but haven’t gotten an answer yet.”

‘Inciting violence’: Israel arrests Palestinian journalist for live-streaming IDF soldiers
A Palestinian journalist has been arrested by Israeli authorities for filming soldiers operating in the West Bank city of Ramallah on Facebook Live. They claim he was inciting violence against Israel and the army.
Ali Dar Ali live-streamed two videos on Facebook on Tuesday morning, which showed Israel Defense Forces (IDF) soldiers operating in the Al-Amari refugee camp. They were drawing up a plan of a Palestinian home, a procedure typically done before demolishing a building, according to Gaza-based journalist Hind Khoudary.
Israeli forces raided Ali's home and arrested him the following day. The journalist's mother, Umm Ali Dar Ali, told RT that the family was sleeping when they heard a knock on the door in the middle of the night.
"We woke up and opened the door. They told us they are soldiers…they went upstairs and arrested him. He told me 'Mom, don't be afraid. I hope I won't stay there for long,'" she said. Ali's mother also said that when she and other members of the family went to the court, they were told her son's detention was being extended.
The Palestine Broadcasting Corporation, which Ali works for, has called for his immediate release, accusing Israel of targeting the Palestinian media.
"These measures are intended to silence the Palestinian voice and dim the picture so that Israel can commit its crimes without any noise," the agency said in a statement.
Meanwhile, the IDF has defended the arrest of Ali. "The man filmed and edited videos of IDF troops during the course of their operational activities, while encouraging violence towards them, and incited attacks directed at the state of Israel and IDF troops," it said.
Filming IDF soldiers is illegal in Israel, while filming them with the intent of "undermining the spirit of the army" is punishable by up to five years in prison.
Ali is at least the eighth Palestinian journalist to be arrested by Israel since July 30, according to numbers cited by the Committee to Protect Journalists (CPJ), which said in a statement that "Israel has been relentless in its assault on the Palestinian press" and called on all detained journalists to be released.
