This is the SIXTH Magnitude 6+ earthquake to strike around the Pacific Rim in the past week. This series of very strong quakes began in northern Alaska with TWO 6.0+ quakes, spread southwest along the Aleutian Islands with a 6.-+ there, continued west, southwest to the Marianas Islands with a 6.+ there, then a 6.4 in Indonesia, and is now continuing in the only places remaining where stress can be released: North and South America.
