Just gonna throw this out there for muh lawfags, because i am an artist here and only think in pictures. reading this stuff makes me befuddled. i need cliff notes.

Anyway, all these people who move to the islands, what type of jurisdiction does the USA have on the islands, do these people move there to not be held accountable by US laws, do they have their own laws? is it because they are hidden and free from surveillance? what is it? An island can be surrounded if someone wants to get them, it really has no escape route so i am just curious what the dealio is.

one of my most favorite science fiction writers. never really looked into her background but it is rather interesting and her books are incredible.

She wrote the Left Hand of Darkness, about a genderless society, in the 70's. so they were exploring these ideas way back then…

I was a science fiction fanatic. was all i would read as a kid. so I always wondered how some of these writers could know so much about a futuristic society… maybe the same as the Adventures of Barron Trump and The Last President…?

Aldous Huxley, Oxford

and Franz Kafka, another interesting character who wrote metamorphosis (which i think influenced Eraserhead Lynch another strange person).

I love their writing, but i am seeing it in a different light now, giving their upbringing and their educations.
