Interesting comment in the GP article re POTUS's idea about reducing the current quarterly reporting to the SEC from quarterly to bi-annually. Which is a GREAT idea btw, thanks to Indra Nooyi, who will step down in October after 24 years and as CEO at PepsiCo Inc. (hmmm, have we dug on her?) for suggesting it.
I'm a CPA and have worked as an Assistant to the CFO so I was responsible in getting the FS's to him for review, the quarterly reporting was such a hastle and so time consuming. It would greatly cut down on concentrating on reporting and rather, better time spent on analyzing and improving efficiencies and even fixing ERP system issues or consolidating issues, so many other things you could be working on to improve your business' efficiency and profitability.
However, back to the comment this Calamaty Jane made re PS's wife who is at the SEC.
I know we have done our work here digging on her. Maybe Jane got her comment from lurking on this board or reading our notables.
This is gonna be fun to watch!
