In the hunt for a pagan charm medallion being worn in Rome in 2015-2016 I decided to find out who wears red shoes on the theory that it will help us to narrow things down. Q didn't say that the red shoe wearer was wearing the medallion, though.
It seems that Cardinals wear red shoes. Here are two photos. So if the Podesta delegation to Rome was meeting with a Cardinal, somebody else at the meeting may have been wearing the charm.
