We did have a very long late-night discussion about the death penalty and many anons weighed in and debated the pros and cons, and how they were guided by faith in the matter. It was one of the first Night Shift evenings that I recall, where I realized the depth of conscience and conviction and reasoning that is present in the assembled anons. Our group had been in existence for a good while already but that night is one that has stuck in my memory as being really formative for those who participated.
It's a topic that still elicits a lot of emotion and deep consideration, as it should.
