green is taliban, black is ISIS, and white is the USA/Gov.
a few large scale offensives would severely weaken the taliban, but we're still on the defensive, plus its the summer, which usually is the time for offensive ops
the taliban wants talks too, meaning they're either being cocky, or they're weak
