Well, that "victimhood" won't protect you when your country has violated international law a million times over and has only skirted due to their leaderships' shady dealings, subversion of other nations, and blackmail culture. If the ordinary denizens of Israel aren't privy to what their government has been doing for the last 70 years (and beyond,) they'd better speak up now lest they get caught in the eventual carnage when the USA cuts them off cold-turkey.

Right. You'll notice that a fair number of politicians who have "resigned" of their own accord are of the Republican fare, while those who were busted doing dumb shit like Franken and other Democrats had to be forced largely by public opinion/outrage to step down.

The ones who remain, like the entirety of California's state government, Schumer, Cuomo, Warren, DWS, etc. are the ones being set up for the hardest and most vicious falls, hence why they're still allowed to bitch and moan about Trump until their final fate hits them in the face.
