The problem has only skyrocketed since the banking crisis. The Swiss currency was very cheap to invest in and many families invested in it after their assets blew out. Then the currency tables were flipped again and many families throughout Eastern and Southern Europe are deeply in debt to the Swiss banks.
If only there were a way of easing those debts among a bunch of bank owners who operate human trafficking networks. Hmm….
