I was just reading neon revolt's rundown of the Laura Silsby/d'Adesky connection. What is really fishy is the Clinton's big interest in helping Silsby. Silsby is supposedly a missionary from a fundamentalist baptist church that believes homosexuality is sinful and believes the Bible is inerrant. It's beyond fishy that Clinton as secretary of state for the Obama administration–or even as far back as 2001 when she was supposedly a senator–would be so interested in helping a fundamentalist baptist missionary. A real fundamentalist baptist would be almost without question a Republican. Are we to believe Clinton/Obama were zealously pushing for the release of imprisoned American fundamentalist missionaries all around the world in 2010/2011? Doubtful.

Has anyone found anything about how Clinton was aware of Silsby way back in 2001? How would she be on her email list when she was trying to start up a mission to Haiti from some backwater in Idaho? There are a million people trying to get funding for missionary trips in the US. It's inconceivable that if Clinton was interested in giving money to a missionary in 2001, she would have picked a fundamentalist Baptist in Idaho. She would have been working with a missionary from the United Methodist Church or some other liberal protestant church more in line with her values. More likely, she would not have been interested in missionaries at all, since the only real reason to give money to missionaries is if you believe people will go to hell without accepting Christianity, something a liberal methodist like Clinton supposedly is would never believe.

So how did Clinton become aware of Silsby? That would be the thing to find out, if you could ask Huma Abedin or somebody who knew.
