As many posts as there are about being done with pools, tells me 1: they know nothing about autists. 2: we need to keep looking for pools.

A pool that is used for a couple days in a basement and then drained….isn't actually being used.

It would take that long to heat up if it had a heater. Takes me to my next question. It's in a basement, no sun light. Did it even have a heater?

So water is heated prior to filling or ran through a boiler system during filtration?

Not trying to take up bread, but to me, the story defies logic. And supports the theory they don't use the pool as a pool.

I looked into heat pumps:

"Overall, a heat pump usually requires between 24 and 72 hours to heat a swimming pool by 20°F (11°C)"

One BTU raises one pound of water by 1°F (0.6°C). One gallon of water is equal to 8.34 pounds of water, so 8.34 BTUs raises one gallon of water by 1°F (0.6°C).
