The old one was a lot closer to, actually in Denver. They essentially built the airport & then almost without reason said it needed to be redone so they just buried the existing structure & started over adding billions to an already over budget project. They also wanted a shit ton of $$$$ on an underground baggage system that was supposed to be more efficient but it never worked right so they just went back to using the tried & true way of moving bags above ground. Basically they just abandoned it. Something spoopy there indeed.

Those are EXACTLY the questions that need answers. I suspect black military projects as u said & maybe corruption. But what do they need that much $$ for indeed? I've seen some numbers thrown around that we could essentially build the entire USA with something like 5 trillion. Look at all the empty cities that China has built. That's what leads me more toward SAP projects.

That is pretty much my line of thinking as well. I went to college out there so have been thru there many times but that was 10+ yrs ago & I was so distracted with school girls & drugs at that time I didn't pay anywhere near the attention I wish I would have.
Along the line of D.U.M.B.S., I always figured it is a major hub for all sorts of nefarious activities. The runways are very far apart & they have hangers out there that are out of sight of the terminal. U could easily pull a 747 into a hanger, unload it into an elevator that could bring it down to a waiting truck or more likely the fabled underground railway that's rumored to exist across the entire nation, then it can go anywhere really.
