>>2664796 notable about Nicolaitans

So, they established a hierarchy to "rule" over people. They propped themselves up, as idols, to establish power over the people.

Can we draw any conclusions about the "first church" and the "first bishop", St. Peter?

In addition, are we collectively recognizing that this more or less corroborates other facets of corruption that we see unraveling today - the evidenced widespread abuse of children? Was the idea from the beginning to draw in the children? Did it start out as a way to garner trust from children that didn't know better? It's sort of weird to think of the dynamic today, and how kids tend to be obsessed with "getting presents" at Christmas time. How long has the obsession been prominent? Does this tell us anything about a potential connection between past occurrences and today? Does this give credence to the Revelations theories of today's Great Awakening?

Seems like there's a lot to dig here. It's all laced with too many coincidences for me…
